Parleys Canyon Rock Climbing

Parleys canyon rock climbing.

  This climbing area “The Iron Curtain Wall” is right next to the interstate.  If you travel any of the interstates through Salt Lake, the Iron curtain wall is a must stop.  Location, location, location, accessing this climb quick and easy.

Parleys Canyon Rock Climbing

1. Start from the Grandeur Peak Trail Head.
2.  Hike up the trail to the left until you reach a cell phone tower.
3. turn left toward the interstate
4. Head (east) down a steep narrow trail to access the climbing wall.

The climbing here is good.  It is fairly difficult and there is no obvious way to top rope.  The scenery looks over the urban valley and follows the interstate cutting it’s way through the beautiful rugged mountains walls which you are climbing.
